PUNT Foundation's Family Festival

Jun 10, 2007

On June 9th, Brian Moorman's P.U.N.T. Foundation hosted its inaugural Family Festival at Brierwood Country Club. It was a beautiful sun filled day as families, patients of Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Brian's teammates from the Buffalo Bills came out to support the P.U.N.T. Foundation's mission, helping children and families in Western New York affected by pediatric cancer. The day was full of excitement and energy with fabulous food, great entertainment and fun for everyone. The Children's Carnival was a huge hit with bounce houses, the Reptile Guy, Chuckles the Clown, music by Glenn Colton, face painting, games and crafts. A number of adults teamed up to take on the Buffalo Bills in some friendly competition of bocce ball. In addition to great food, fun and friends, guests had the opportunity to win one of the many items offered in the basket raffle. When the long day was finished, the P.U.N.T. Foundation had raised over $20,000 to support their mission of providing children in Western New York affected by cancer with the opportunities and assistance to enjoy the life they fight so hard for. All proceeds from the Family Festival will directly benefit families that are dealing with pediatric cancer. The day was a great success, measured by the smiles on the faces of all the children who attended. Thank you to the numerous sponsors and individuals who supported this event. It is through the generosity of the community that we can continue to bring smiles to the children's faces.
