PUNT Foundation hosted 1st Annual Sprint Triathlon

Brian Moorman’s P.U.N.T. Foundation hosted its first sprint triathlon in sunny downtown Buffalo on Saturday May 29th. Competitors showed up bright and early to race alongside Brian and his teammates, Rian Lindell, Garrison Sanborn, coaches Dan Liburd, Pat Blackford and local radio personalities Bull from 103.3 The Edge and Janet Snyder from Kiss 98.5. There were plenty of spectators on hand who cheered for their favorite athletes as they swam 300 meters, biked 22.5 kilometers, and then ran a 5K all while raising money to help families in WNY affected by pediatric cancer.

This is the first year PUNT Foundation hosted a sprint triathlon and the first ever in downtown Buffalo. "I'm always amazed at how giving this community is and not just monetarily but with their time and today with their energy. It's been a lot of fun," said Moorman. “There will definitely be a 2nd Annual PUNT Foundation Sprint Triathlon next year.”
